I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Rhode Island. I earned my master’s degree in clinical social work from Fordham University and my bachelor’s degree in social work with a concentration in Gerontology from Bloomsburg University. I have provided counseling for children, adolescents, families, and adults through individual, group, family, and parent modalities. My approach to counseling is strength-based and solution-focused. I utilize play, art, cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, trauma-focused, and experiential therapies. I have a strong interest in incorporating a holistic approach to counseling which utilizes the mind-body-spirit connection.  I became EAGALA certified and have been incorporating it in counseling since 2013. I went on to continue my studies in animal-assisted therapy through the University of Denver School of Social Work and obtained a certificate in Animals and Human Health in 2014.
