ABOUT EAGALA

unnamed.jpg

EAGALA is an experiential modality that utilizes horses for growth and learning.

This means that participants learn about themselves and others by partaking in activities with horses and then discussing thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and patterns.

The EAGALA team consists of an equine specialist (ES), a mental health professional (MH), and one or more horses.

“[Horses] have an uncanny way of mirroring our emotions, even before we are aware of them”

OUR HOME

Silva Spirit Farm

In 1977, Carol Ann Silva purchased Silva Spirit Farm, named in honor of her father, Joseph Silva, a self-made man who came over from Portugal as an immigrant in 1920. In 2018, Silva Spirit Farm became home to  Medicine Horse 501 (c) (3) Non Profit. Sessions take place in either the indoor or outdoor arena, and all of the equine team live full time at The Farm.

Many other growth and healing programs are offered at the farm.
